About Professional Health Forum
Our mission
Professional Health Forum (PHF) publishes plain-English health guidance from African health professionals. We believe people deserve health information they can understand, written by someone accountable for it, and we want African clinicians to have a place where their expertise reaches the public under their own names.
Who is behind PHF
PHF was founded by Thomas Whitcho, a community and clinical pharmacist in Zimbabwe. Thomas is also the author of two pharmacist-led book series, Ask the Pharmacist: Metabolic Health and Breaking the Silence: Men's Health. You can see them on our books page.
We want PHF to grow into a forum of many professionals: pharmacists, doctors, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists and laboratory scientists. If that is you, see Write for PHF.

What we are not
